Many English families live in their own houses. there are 2 floor in the traditional English house. each room is usually situated on it own floor. the main room is comfortable living room, where Englishmen like to spend their evenings near the fireplace, watching TV, read books etc. people in England like their houses and often say "there is no place like home" and "east or west, home is best"
