MY favrite food it's a poutine. This side dish (гарнир), originating from Quebec and consists of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brovn gravy. The main feature of the dish it's a sause (brovn gravy) which is a combination of beef and chicken stock also with vinegar to keep balance between cheese and fries. There're many vafiations of poutine. Some restaurants prefer poutine with such toppings as sausage, chicken and bacon. The most expensive poutines can be with foie gras, or even caviar and truffle.

Poutine has been called "National Canadian dish" and in many canadian districts celebrate annually the invention of poutines since 1950s. I like cooking poutine for myself to dinner, recipe: 4 cups frozen french-fries potatoes, 1 evelope brown gravy mix, one quarter (1/4) teaspoon papper and hulf of cup white cheddar cheese. Mix everything and poutine's ready.
