It is hard to argue with the fact that these days animals are used in various medicine development experiments. It is said by opponents that these tests should be forbidden to prevent animals suffering. However, proponents firmly believe that the contribution of animals research to medical science and human health is undeniable.

To begin with, the people who say that these experiments have to be stopped, claim that it is cruel and inhumane. They offer alternative methods for medical or scientific developments. Few of these examples are computer modeling, cell cultures or human volunteers. Applying these processes undoubtedly can save animals from mistreatment or even death. In addition, they assume that animals are different from human beings, that is why research on animals usually yields irrelevant results.
